Valerie Kay founded Navigate Healthcare after her own personal experience of being subjected to medical error. It was a close call for Valerie as her internal bleeding was misdiagnosed and as a result she nearly became a statistic. Valerie remembers the feeling of wanting to call 911 from her hospital room for help because she felt ignored. Even working as a professional with large healthcare companies, Valerie could see the communication challenges that healthcare professionals face. In response she founded Navigate Healthcare.
